Student help

Step-by-step guides for students.

Reset your password

Forgot your Ketpy password? Reset it in under a minute using your registered mobile or email.

  1. Open the Ketpy student app or go to students.your-school.ketpy.com.
  2. Tap Forgot password? below the login button.
  3. Enter your admission number or registered mobile number — we will send a 6-digit OTP via SMS.
  4. Type the OTP, then set a new password (minimum 8 characters, with at least one number).
  5. Tap Save & Login — you will be signed in automatically.

Tip

Still stuck? Your class teacher can trigger a password reset from their dashboard — much faster than waiting for the admin office.

Submit an assignment

Turn in homework, projects, or worksheets directly from your phone — PDFs, photos, or typed answers all work.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Assignments. Pending work shows up with a red due-date badge.
  2. Tap the assignment card to read instructions and download any reference files the teacher attached.
  3. Tap + Add submission, then choose Upload file, Take photo, or Type answer.
  4. You can attach up to 5 files per submission (max 10 MB each). PDFs, JPG, PNG, and DOCX are accepted.
  5. Tap Submit. You will see a green tick and a timestamp once it is in.
  6. If the teacher returns it for rework, the assignment moves back to Pending with their comments — fix and resubmit.

2-min video walkthrough · Submitting your first assignment

Watch eLearning videos

Catch up on missed classes or revise tough chapters with teacher-uploaded videos and NCERT-aligned content.

  1. Open Dashboard → eLearning — videos are grouped by subject and chapter.
  2. Use the Class and Subject filters at the top to narrow down to what you need.
  3. Tap any video to start streaming. The player remembers where you stopped — pick up next time from the same spot.
  4. Tap the download icon to save a video for offline viewing (handy on patchy 4G).
  5. After watching, tap Mark as complete so your teacher can see your progress.

Tip

Use the 1.25x speed button for revision — most students get through a 20-minute lecture in 16 minutes without losing comprehension.

Take an online test

Quizzes, weekly tests, and MCQ exams all run inside Ketpy — no separate Google Form needed.

  1. Tests appear under Dashboard → Online Tests. Scheduled tests show a countdown to the start time.
  2. When the test opens, tap Start. Read the instructions carefully — once you begin, the timer cannot be paused.
  3. Answer each question by tapping the option (MCQs) or typing in the box (short/long answer). Use Mark for review to flag questions you want to revisit.
  4. The question palette on the right shows green (answered), grey (skipped), and orange (marked).
  5. Tap Submit test before the timer hits zero. Auto-submission happens at the buzzer.
  6. For objective tests, your score appears instantly. Subjective answers go to your teacher for grading.

Tip

Keep your phone on a stable WiFi or full-bar 4G — Ketpy auto-saves every 30 seconds, but a strong connection avoids any worry.

View results and report cards

Check exam marks, term grades, and download your official report card whenever you need it.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Results. The latest exam shows up at the top with subject-wise marks.
  2. Tap any subject row to see question-paper-wise breakup and your teacher's feedback.
  3. Switch between Term 1, Term 2, and Annual using the tabs.
  4. For CBSE/ICSE format report cards, tap Download PDF — the school stamp and principal signature are included.
  5. Compare your scores across terms in the Progress graph tab.

Check your timetable + ask questions in chat

Never miss a class and get doubts cleared without waiting for the next school day.

  1. Tap Dashboard → Timetable to see today's periods, rooms, and teachers. Swipe left/right to see other weekdays.
  2. Substitute teachers and last-minute changes show up in orange.
  3. To ask a doubt, open Dashboard → Chat and pick your subject teacher or your class group.
  4. Type your question, attach a photo of the problem if needed (press + and choose Camera), and send.
  5. Chats are monitored by your class teacher — keep them respectful and school-related.

Tip

Use the class group for general doubts so everyone benefits. DM the teacher only for personal queries.
