Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 May 2026. This is a plain-language summary of how Ketpy handles your data.
What we collect
Only what we need to deliver the service: school details, user accounts (with role), student & parent records you enter, attendance / fee / exam / library data, and audit logs of admin actions.
How we use it
To run the platform, send the messages and emails you've configured, generate the reports you request, and back up your data. We never sell or rent your data. We never train AI models on it without your written consent.
Where it lives
On servers in India. Encrypted at rest (AES-256), encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). Daily snapshots kept in a second region for disaster recovery.
Who can see it
Only authenticated users from your school, with the role-based access you configure. Our engineering team can access your data only with explicit, time-bound, audit-logged permission from you.
Your rights
You own your data. Export everything any time as Excel/CSV. Delete your account and we erase your data within 30 days (90 days for backup tapes).
